All CVs now have a contact form!

What does this mean and why is it needed?

Previously, if an employer found your CV on HMCV, there would have been no way of them contacting you without you placing some form of info on your CV (personal email, phone number etc.).

I know for one, that I am not happy with broadcasting my email/number to the internet and its (sometimes) devious ways.

Now we have included a form on every CV that employers can fill out and it will be sent to the email address that you supplied at account creation. This should avoid you getting spam but as you know life is not always that kind so if you do receive any non-job related emails: please let us know (on the forum is probably the best place) and we'll look into it.
